What we install

• Smart wall switches — touch panels that go in where your existing switch was. The wall still works the way everyone in the house expects.
• Dimming — set light levels per room and per scene, without pulling new cable through the ceiling.
• Scenes — one tap for everything you want on at that time of day. Evening, dinner, movie, bedtime, away.
• Schedules and sunset triggers — outside lights that come on as it gets dark and off when you are asleep, adjusting through the year on their own.
• Occupancy sensors — passages, garages and storerooms that light themselves and switch off after you leave.
• App and voice control — from your phone, wherever you are.

How it works

1. Site visit — we check your distribution board, your existing switch wiring and where your wifi actually reaches. Whether a room has a neutral at the switch decides which hardware suits it.
2. Design — which switches change, which circuits group together, and what each scene should do.
3. Written quote — per room or per area, so you can start with the living areas and add bedrooms later.
4. Installation — switches fitted, circuits grouped, scenes programmed.
5. Handover — we set the app up and walk your household through it. Phone and WhatsApp support during business hours, Monday to Friday.

What happens if it fails?

• The wall switch still works. Everything we fit can be operated by hand. Nobody is left in the dark because an app is misbehaving.
• Schedules run locally, so your outside lights carry on when the internet drops.
• After load-shedding, lights return to a defined state rather than all coming on at 3am.
• Support by phone and WhatsApp during business hours, Monday to Friday.

Common questions

Do I have to rewire?
Usually not. Most homes we do are retrofits. Where a particular circuit genuinely needs work we tell you before quoting, not after.

Do I need to replace every switch?
No. Start with the rooms that annoy you and expand. We design so the next stage does not mean redoing the first.

Will the lights still work if the wifi is down?
Yes. Wall control and schedules are unaffected. You lose control from outside the house only.

What about load-shedding?
Switches resume normally when power returns and hold their schedules.

Can I use my existing light fittings?
In most cases yes. Dimming depends on the bulbs, and we will tell you which of yours will dim smoothly and which will not.
