Every brand we install, what each one is actually for, and where it fits.
Solutions answers what do you need. This page answers a different question: can you actually do it? If your architect specified Lutron, your installer recommended Monitor Audio, or your insurer asked what cameras you are fitting, this is the page that tells you where we stand.
We are certified installers for the brands we work with.
For Lutron, Denon, Marantz, WiiM and Monitor Audio we are a dealer through Homemation, the South African distributor for those brands. That means the product you buy from us comes through the official distribution channel, with the warranty and the support that goes with it — not grey imports.
It also means we can get answers. When something needs a firmware fix, a warranty replacement or a straight answer about compatibility, we have somebody to phone.

What it is. The lighting control system most often named on architect-led homes. We work with the RA2 Select system: app control from anywhere, wireless Pico remotes for in-room control, and up to 100 devices on a single system.
Why it gets specified. Lutron runs on its own Clear Connect RF, not on your wifi. That is the whole argument: the lighting keeps working when the network does not, and it does not fight with everything else in the house for airtime.
Who it suits. Homes where lighting is part of the design rather than an afterthought, and anyone who has lived with a wifi-based system that drops out.
Also worth knowing. Lutron is not the only way to do smart lighting, and for a lot of homes it is more system than the job needs. See smart lighting for the alternatives — we will tell you honestly which side of that line you are on.

Our audio brands do not compete with each other. They stack. Understanding the stack is the difference between buying a system and buying a box.
What it does. Streaming and control. Where the music comes from and how you choose it. High-fidelity wireless audio that works with the streaming services you already pay for.
Who it suits. Almost everyone. WiiM is often the cheapest part of a good system and the part you touch most, which is a reason to get it right rather than to skimp.
What it does. Amplification, AV receivers and HEOS multi-room. What drives the speakers and ties the rooms together into one system rather than several.
Who it suits. Anyone doing more than one room, and anyone building a cinema. If you want the same music in four rooms, or different music in each, this is the layer that makes it happen.
What it does. Premium amplification and AV receivers. Where Denon covers most multi-room and cinema work well, Marantz is the step up for people who care about how the amplification itself sounds.
Who it suits. The dedicated listening room and the serious cinema. If you are putting Monitor Audio Gold or Platinum in a room, this is the amplification conversation worth having.
Marantz in detail. Available through our Homemation dealership.
What it does. Honest sound per rand. The right answer for most rooms in most houses.
Who it suits. Kitchens, patios, passages, bedrooms — rooms where music is present rather than listened to. Putting reference speakers in those rooms is money that would do more work elsewhere.

What it does. The Gold 6G and Platinum 3G ranges, the Cinergy cinema range, Anthra subwoofers, and in-ceiling and architectural options for installs where the speakers should not be seen.
Who it suits. The listening room, the cinema, the main living space. Rooms where somebody will sit down and pay attention.

Same brands, three levels of ambition. Which one suits you is a question about the room and the budget, not about status.
Tell us the rooms and roughly what you want to spend, and we will tell you which tier the money actually belongs in. Very often it is one tier lower on the boxes and one tier higher on the speakers — under-driven good speakers and over-driven cheap ones are the two mistakes we get called in to fix.
What it is. The camera range we fit most often. Turret and bullet cameras, PTZ units for yards and driveways, ColorVu for full-colour footage after dark, and NVR or DVR recording on site.
Who it suits. Homes, business premises, guesthouses, warehouses and yards. The range covers a single camera over a front door through to a multi-camera site, which means the same platform scales with you instead of being replaced.

Perimeter and interior detection, outdoor sirens with strobe, solar-powered outdoor sensors, indoor PIRs and RFID keypad panels with arm, stay-arm and disarm from the panel or the app.

What they are. The two platforms behind most of the smart locks and access hardware we fit. They are not really brands in the way Lutron is — they are the app and code layer that a lot of good hardware runs on.
What that gives you. Codes, cards, fingerprints and app control on one system, temporary and scheduled access, an entry log, and remote code changes. Mechanical key override on every lock we fit, without exception.
Who it suits. Homeowners, short-stay hosts and offices alike. It is the same platform whether you are managing one front door or twenty guest doors.
Smart locks start at R2 565. See smart door locks, short-stay rentals and access control.

What they are. Centurion gate motors and controllers — including the D5-Evo — and the Dx SMART wifi module that brings an existing motor onto an app without replacing it.
Why that matters. If you already have a working gate motor, you usually do not need a new one. Adding the smart layer is a fraction of the cost of a replacement, and your existing remotes keep working alongside it.

| What you want | What we would specify |
| Lighting scenes and dimming, architect-led home | Lutron RA2 Select |
| Lighting on a normal retrofit budget | Tuya smart switches |
| Music in several rooms | WiiM + Denon HEOS + Polk |
| Dedicated cinema or listening room | Marantz or Denon + Monitor Audio Gold / Platinum / Cinergy |
| Speakers that must not be seen | Monitor Audio in-ceiling / architectural |
| Cameras, home or business | Hikvision |
| Keyless entry, guests or staff | TTLock / Tuya locks |
| Existing gate onto an app | Dx SMART module on your current motor |
The brand on the box matters less than what happens on site. Whatever is specified:
Do I have to buy the hardware from you?
No. If you have already bought elsewhere, we will still install and commission it. If you buy from us, it comes through official distribution with the warranty intact.
Can you mix brands?
Within reason, yes — and audio is designed to be mixed, which is the point of the stack above. Where two systems genuinely will not talk to each other, we say so before you commit rather than after.
What if my architect specified something you do not list?
Ask us. We would rather tell you that is not us than take on work we cannot support properly afterwards.
Is the premium brand always better?
No. It is better in the room that deserves it. Putting reference speakers in a passage is not a better system, it is a more expensive one.
Can I start small and add later?
Yes, and with all of these platforms that is the sensible order. We design so the next stage does not mean undoing the first.
Tell us what has been specified, or what you are trying to achieve, and we will tell you which of these fits.
