What it is

Denon makes the amplification layer: AV receivers, integrated amplifiers, and HEOS multi-room. In a system, Denon is the engine — what drives the speakers and what turns several separate rooms into one system you control from a single app.

Who it suits

Anyone doing more than one room. Anyone building a cinema. If you want the same music playing through the house, or different music in each room, or a proper surround setup in the lounge, this is the layer that makes it happen.

What we install

• AV receivers — for home cinema, sized to the room and the speaker package rather than to the spec sheet.
• HEOS multi-room — zones through the house, grouped or independent, controlled from one app.
• Integrated amplification — for stereo rooms where a receiver would be overkill.

What an install involves

1. Site visit — which rooms, what is going in them, and where the equipment can live and stay cool.
2. Design — amplification sized to the speakers, zones planned, cable routes and power established.
3. Written quote — equipment and installation separated so you can see the trade-offs.
4. Installation — cabling, rack or cabinet, speaker connection, network setup.
5. Commissioning — levels set, zones named sensibly, app configured on your phone before we leave.

Common questions

How much amplification do I need?
Enough for the speakers, which is usually more than people budget for. Under-driving good speakers is the most common fault we are called in to fix.

Can I add rooms later?
Yes — that is what HEOS is for. We design the first stage so the second does not mean redoing it.

Denon or Marantz?
Denon covers most multi-room and cinema work very well. Marantz is the step up where the amplification itself is the point. We will tell you honestly which your room justifies.

Will it work with my streaming services?
Tell us which ones and we will confirm before you buy.
