RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

(Self-Installation Purchases)


1. POLICY SCOPE

This policy applies only to products purchased from Mazzy Automations that are installed by the client or a third party not appointed by Mazzy.

Products installed by Mazzy are covered under separate installation and warranty terms.


2. ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS

Products may be returned within 7 (seven) calendar days of purchase only if:

  • The product is unused
  • The product is not installed
  • The product is in original packaging
  • All accessories, manuals, and components are included
  • Proof of purchase is provided

Mazzy reserves the right to inspect all returned items before approval.


3. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Products that have been installed or partially installed
  • Products that show signs of use, damage, or tampering
  • Software-activated, paired, or registered devices
  • Custom-ordered or special-order items
  • Products damaged due to incorrect installation, wiring, or configuration
  • Clearance or discounted items marked “non-returnable”

4. RETURNS DUE TO INCORRECT PURCHASE

Mazzy is not responsible for returns arising from:

  • Incorrect product selection
  • Compatibility issues
  • Client misunderstanding of functionality
  • Network, Wi-Fi, or power limitations

Clients are encouraged to request pre-purchase guidance before ordering.


5. FAULTY PRODUCTS (MANUFACTURER WARRANTY)

If a product is found to be faulty due to manufacturing defects:

  • The product will be assessed under the manufacturer’s warranty
  • Mazzy may repair, replace, or send the product for manufacturer evaluation
  • No refunds are issued until fault verification is completed

Damage caused by incorrect installation is not considered a manufacturing fault.


6. REFUNDS & RESTOCKING FEES

  • Approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%
  • Refunds (if approved) are processed within 7–10 business days
  • Refunds are issued using the original payment method
  • Installation fees, delivery fees, and service charges are non-refundable

7. SHIPPING & HANDLING

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the client
  • Mazzy is not responsible for damage during return shipping
  • Products must be securely packaged for return

8. NO LIABILITY FOR SELF-INSTALLATION

Mazzy Automations:

  • Does not guarantee performance of products installed by third parties
  • Is not liable for damage to property, devices, or systems caused by incorrect installation
  • Provides support guidance only where explicitly agreed

9. RIGHT TO REFUSE RETURNS

Mazzy reserves the right to:

  • Refuse any return that does not meet this policy
  • Reject items that pose safety, compliance, or reputational risk
  • Update this policy without prior notice
